References question

Would anyone be able to help me out on this?

A colleague of mine would like to know if any documentation exists on
circumstances surrounding research in which it is essential for the
researcher to collaborate extensively with a Deaf colleague. The
research area (linguistics, psychology, social work etc.) is not
important: what *is* important for the person concerned is a description
of the ways in which collaboration with a Deaf co-worker is important or
essential to the project. (This is because the person concerned has to
justify to her/his employer the fact that she/he works on more than an
occasional basis with a Deaf colleague, presumably for budgetary
reasons.)

If you can help out with any references, or information of your own, on
this subject, please send your reply to:

Thanks,

Chris Miller
