THE DEAF STROKE PROJECT

Did you know that approximately 100 BSL users every year have a stroke in
the UK?
Stroke affects people of all ages, although they are more frequent among
elderly people.

The Deaf Stroke project hopes to raise awareness within the Deaf Community
(and those who work with Deaf people) about the communication problems that
BSL users may have after stroke. We have a NEW website at
www.city.ac.uk/deafstrokes

Please check it out- all comments welcome!
