Does anyone have a good definition for Role Shift as used in ASL beyond "reported speech" or "constructed speech"? It seems (certainly at the level of discourse) to be much richer than constructed speech in English. Should that matter? Thank you in advance, Theresa Theresa B. Smith ASLIS
