Dear members of the list,

I'm interested into having informations on the role of eye movements for
the construction of speech in sign language.
Could you please give me references of studies, researches... on the
grammatical role of eye movements, for example distinction between
"article d }˜ ini <-> article ind }˜ ini" (in french, sorry I don't know how
it's called in english), pointers, marker of the end of the sentence,
marker of the themes's changes, etc.

In extension, I'd be interested in having contact with any sign language
interpreter trainer who is (was) in charge of teaching sing language
linguistics to sign interpreters. I'm actually preparing a course on
sign linguistics for sign interpreters students and I'm trying to find
the best way to connect linguistic theory to the interpretation problem
that offen occur in practice (the difficulty to analyse and translate
the informations contained in the eye movements... is one among
differents problems that sign interpreters meet with.)

I'm looking forward to receiving your answers.

I thank you in advance
