Grammatical Gender in BSL

In response to Judith Yoel's posting (sorry I erased it):

1. Where on the east coast of Canada you are doing your research?

2. Are you finding that BSL grammar  (as well as some individual signs)
still exists within the predominantly ASL signing communities in that
region?

Being a native of this region (Newfoundland) and learning ASL there, I am
particularly interested in the types of variation people find there.
