natives signers vs. non-native signers

Does anyone know of any reasearch that has been done on native signers vs.
non-native signers (or Deaf signers vs. hearing signers)?  I'm doing a thesis
project specifically on the biomechanics of signing between these two groups
but any liguistical information would be greatly appreciated.
