Asia Signopedia is an on-line knowledge base on Natural Sign Languages of
the Asia Pacific Region jointly developed by the Department of Linguistics
and Modern Languages, and the Department of Mechanical and Automation
Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The website is developed
under the sponsorship from Microsoft Research Asia and managed by the Centre
for Sign Linguistics and Deaf Studies of the Chinese University of Hong
Kong.

Asia Signopedia is a wiki-like web platform for sharing of sign language and
deaf information in the Asia Pacific region. The aim of creating the
platform is to encourage users to learn and compare signs of different
places in the region, as well as sharing information about the situation of
the deaf people in the region. "Asia Signopedia" has just been launched in
April. Users can upload textual or video information onto the platform and
share among users around the world in order to enhance intercultural and
academic exchanges among hearing and deaf people.

Please follow this link http://www.asiasignopedia.org/signopedia/ to explore
the site. Currently the platform is available in English only while more
languages will be added.
