Psycholinguistics research position

[Karen Emmorey]

A research position in sign language psycholinguistics at the  
Postdoctoral or Master’s level is available in the Laboratory for  
Language and Cognitive Neuroscience at San Diego State University  
(Dr. Karen Emmorey, Director).  Information about the Laboratory can

Applicants must have either an M.A. or Ph.D. in hand and should have  
a background in psycholinguistics, experimental design using  
Psyscope, strong knowledge of Excel, SPSS and other statistical  
software.  Conversational ASL fluency is required.  The successful  
candidate will contribute to on-going experimental research on sign  
language production and comprehension and will supervise Deaf  
Research Assistants and student volunteers.

The position is not restricted to U.S. citizens.  Salary dependent  
upon number of years research experience and education ($39,500- 
$55,000).  Both Deaf and hearing candidates are encouraged to apply.
