The 2008 change requests to the ISO 639-3 three-letter codes have been
announced.

Codes for several sign languages were affected:

New codes for:
Panamanian Sign Language
International Sign
Al-Sayyid Bedouin Sign Language
Trinidad and Tobago Sign Language

Name corrected for:
Finland-Swedish Sign Language

You can see the complete list at
http://www.sil.org/iso639-3/chg_requests.asp?order=CR_Number&chg_status=2008
along with details of the changes.

If there are sign languages that are not yet in the ISO 639-3 code set, or
if there are problems with any of the existing listings, you can submit
changes at http://www.sil.org/iso639-3/submit_changes.asp. Getting a
language correctly listed in the ISO 639-3 standard is a key step toward
getting it into the Ethnologue correctly.
