sign language production study

Dear list members,

I need some help with a sign language study which I´m going to arrange
this summer in line with my Master´s Degree. In my study I analyse the
acquisition of wh-questions in German Sign Language.

During a longitudinal study I will research how the wh-signs WEN/ WEM/
WESSEN (english: who/ whom/ whose) and the nonmanuals for wh-questions
will be aqcuired in DGS. It should be a production study and I will
film the children in regularly intervals. I think I have to elicitate
most of the questions. So the only problem for me is to find the right
methodology for this study because I found hardly any informations
about a research design concerning wh-question elicitation in sign
languages.

Maybe anyone can help me by giving me some advices or a
bibliographical reference. My whole study depends on a good
methodology, so it´s very important for me to get some informations.
I´m pleased about any advice.
