The School has an active and growing culture of research and
scholarship with members making a significant contribution to the
University’s submission to the last Research Assessment Exercise.
Accordingly, successful applicants to the following post will be
expected to make an important contribution to the research activities
of the School and maintain a profile of high quality research and
scholarship.

The School is looking to appoint an outstanding academic to the
following post;

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Interpreting: (British Sign
Language/English) (including Deaf Studies)
£31,948 - £45,486 pa

You will join our existing team and contribute to our innovative
courses in Deaf Studies and Interpreting (BSL/Eng). You will also be
responsible for the delivery of teaching activities across theoretical
and applied modules on our professionally accredited Interpreting:
(BSL/Eng.) undergraduate programme and assist with developing
postgraduate courses, as well as international and external links.

You will have a good first degree complemented by a postgraduate
qualification or equivalent in Interpreting: (BSL/English). We offer a
flexible and supportive work environment and excellent training
opportunities.

This is a temporary post for 12 months in the first instance.
