Durham University¹s School of Modern Languages & Cultures announces the
Translation Studies BSL Glossary of Introductory Concepts.

The Glossary focuses on important introductory concepts for Translation
Studies and refers to source texts that explicate the chosen concepts. The
Glossary will be useful for fluent BSL users and second language advanced
learners who are interested in Translation Studies.

The Glossary is also bilingual as the English source texts are also included
within the site for reference. Source texts were chosen in collaboration
with Translation Theory colleagues in the School of Modern Languages &
Cultures, Durham University.

Durham University has a history of research and study of BSL. The
