taking primary responsibility for the management, recruitment and delivery of
the university’s Postgraduate Diploma in British Sign Language/English
Interpreting. This programme, which has been running for more than 10 years,
is the leading Postgraduate Interpreter Training programme in the <st1:country-region
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">UK</st1:place></st1:country-region><o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

experienced in providing sign language interpreting services in a range of
settings and will have current membership of the Register of British Sign
Language/English Interpreters (or equivalent). A postgraduate qualification (or
equivalent experiential learning) in deaf studies, interpreting or a related
discipline is required, along with an interest in teaching and research.
Experience of teaching in the field of deaf studies at Higher Education level
would be highly desirable.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
