And in addition to the "push vs. pull" argument, I find Facebook very distracting. It is hard to get out of once I get into it. There are also many privacy concerns, which can be addressed by changing a multitude of settings... and then paying attention to the warnings as new holes are found and new settings added or changed to address them.
