[SSILA] Emmon Bach

[Society for the Study of the Indigenous Languages of the Americas]

SSILA President, Emmon Bach, died last week of pneumonia in Oxford,
England.  He was healthy and fairly active, so it was very unexpected.
There will be a funeral service in Oxford on Dec. 13.

The SSILA executive committee is considering ways our association can honor
Emmon and his exemplary record of accomplishments for our  field of work.
Please write Alice Taff, SSILA pres. elect, with your ideas.
