junior scholar for an unpublished manuscript that makes a significant
substantive contribution to our knowledge of Native American languages;

The Ken Hale Prize <http://www.ssila.org/awards/the-ken-hale-prize/>,
presented in recognition of outstanding community language work and a deep
commitment to the documentation, maintenance, promotion, and revitalization
of indigenous languages in the Americas; and

The Victor Golla Prize <http://www.ssila.org/awards/32-2/>, presented in
recognition of a significant history of both linguistic scholarship and
service to the scholarly community.

Nominations for the Hale and Golla Prizes are due on May 1 and submissions
for consideration for the Haas Award are due June 15.
