Dear SW List Members:
As you know, our SignBank database is specially-designed in FileMaker.
FileMaker software is generally used for office work...like
bookkeeping, filing, sending bulk mail, invoicing and so forth. Before
now, FileMaker was for small businesses and was not designed for
education. However, our SignBank, and other new developments, are
changing that...FileMaker is starting to be used in schools too. Here
is information I just received:

FileMaker To Showcase Powerful K-12 Software Solutions

ORLANDO, FL (FETC 2003) -- Feb. 3, 2003 -- FileMaker announced today
that it
will showcase a wide range of software solutions for K-12 education at
its

opening here Feb. 4, in the Orlando County Convention Center.

FileMaker is the easy-to-use software for K-12 teachers and
administrators
looking to boost productivity by creating a huge variety of custom

technical help. FileMaker solutions can help improve the entire
education
process, from student enrollment, online and printed report cards, to
fund-raising and tracking equipment.
