Dear SW List Members:
This message is from Stefan. For some reason, the message bounced
because of a problem with an attached graphic, and so I am re-posting
it for Stefan...I will answer later today, Stefan...Many
congratulations on all your accomplishments! Val ;-)

Stefan wrote to the SignWriting List today:

Dear Valerie,

my seminar for the students of the University of Hamburg is almost
finished.

They will show up at our school in August for another day to get first
hand
impressions on how deaf students benefit from your wonderful invention!!
I changed my teaching method again and included lots of handwriting and
"re-inventing" activities!
It is amazing that after only 22 hours of instructions (three days
block -
seminar) the students were able to read and write!!!! by hand and with
the
wonderful DOS SW4.4 program with my dictionary - meaningful and pretty
successful!

Time to get back to my own studies (smile) -- L.I.F.E. ;-)) Tini

So looking at your new IMWA documents I cannot understand your idea of
how
you came to write the relaxed flat hand (01-05-018) as you did!
Can you explain please?

I tried to take a picture of a flat hand - and my understanding of a
relaxed
flat hand ( without tension??) Perhaps you think of a different hand
shape?
Just curious!

Stefan ;-))
