[sw-l] Signing off, for now

 	Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be signing off the list 
next week.  I've known for a while that it's not very likely that I'll do 
my dissertation on sign language technology (if I get it done, it'll 
probably be on French), and there are additional demands on my time 
recently: a young child and a new business.

 	Although I remain a skeptic about certain aspects of SignWriting, 
I've been very encouraged by the amount of interesting work that's being 
done with it.  I've enjoyed the discussions here over the years, and 
you're all still welcome to contact me via private email if you have 
linguistic matters you'd like to discuss.
