Sandy...thank you for your brilliant email messages which I have not
responded to...Please forgive...And it is so amazing to me that you
love the Handwriting so...Isn't that ironic? I remember long ago you
wanted the manual and you still do! That is great...

I need to get in touch with Karen van Hoek...Does anyone know how to
reach Karen? I believe she has moved...anyway...Karen has some
excellent suggestions for the Handwriting manual too, and actually
started working on that new manual, so before I do some work with it, I
want to work a little with Karen, who became very skilled back in the
1980's, adapting the Shorthand to a Handwriting...So Karen contact me,
if you are reading this! smile..I look forward to hearing from you....

Meanwhile, Sandy, I could scan in the old Shorthand manual from the
1980's and post it as a PDF document if you want, but you will find
that it is not really a Handwriting, but more abstract for speed...and
although it is an historic document, and interesting to read, you may
find that it is not entirely useful for you...

But after reading the old manual, Sandy, you could blend it into your
Handwriting...then maybe the three of us...you, me and Karen...could
work together to bring out a more modern manual for SignWriting
Handwriting, with input from others, in 2005...Would that be Christmas
Day enough? smile...

I think I can get the scanned old document posted in 2004...but we will
have to schedule the new Handwriting manual for 2005...

Val ;-)
