SignWriting List
January 21, 2005

Hello Stuart and Everyone -
Of course I know NTID. As you know, I worked there, for 6 months, in
1979 and I did teach a course in SignWriting to the researchers in the
Communication Research department. It was fun seeing famous researchers
nervous over their homework assignments! Actually I felt pretty honored
that they took learning SignWriting so seriously and I appreciate the
feedback they gave me, which of course led to a better writing system
over the years...

I also taught a workshop at Gallaudet in 1984, and Charles Butler
attended!! smile...

So I will be happy to donate copies of SignBank to any school...whether
it be Gallaudet, NTID or others...The only problem, Stuart, is I am
just one person and I get tired. I am afraid I will get overwhelmed if
we schedule too much too fast...

So let's start with Gallaudet, and then from there we can contact
NTID...it is all flexible...Val ;-)
