What is there to be afraid of? What will Val do to us if we get it
wrong???  =:(

Val, your question about what to go for in a BSL children's colouring
book...

I'd suggest Shane's house_3 sign. It's simple and sweeps the
hand-orientation problem under the rug.

I suspect the hand-orientation change is either a dialectical difference
or an individual difference, and if we can ignore it in writing then
that would be a good thing.

I've changed my original sign to "big-house" in the dictionary now. How
about if I now do this:

    o    remove the final syllable handshapes from "big-house";

    o   delete "house_2";

    o   rename "house_3" to "house".

Does that make sense?

Sandy
