SignWriting List
February 6, 2006

Hello Charles -
I assume you mean sending email from SignPuddle?...using glosses?
yes. That is much bigger.

But Cherie is not using that program to send email...She is sending
email from a new feature in SignText, which doesn't have to use a
gloss to get a sign...you compose directly in SignWriting without any
word glosses...

So we now have TWO ways to send email in SignWriting:

SignPuddle Mail program using word-Glosses (old program everyone knows)
http://www.SignBank.org/signpuddle/sgn-US/email.php

SignText Mail Program creating signs directly in SignWriting (no word
glosses)
http://signbank.org/signpuddle/signtext/signtext.html

it is the latter one that is new and Cherie and Ingvild are the first
two to send us email using SignText...

Val ;-)
