Ah, then the deaf use multiple mountains as it were. I was misconstruing as some of ASL patterns do a motion across the board once for a verb, twice for a verb.

    sit (verb) chair (noun)

That's interesting, because such a rule was adopted for some of the Signed Polish nouns and verbs but the motion is done once for a noun, and twice for a verb. In PJM, there is no rule for the motion in verbs and nouns, and many signs may be modified, for example, if you have reached a summit and now watching a wide panorama of mountains, you'll use many motions to "depict" the mountains.
