finger movement

As with all things, a picture would sure help.  Here is how I would write 
my ASL sign for SALT:          The right hand index and middle fingers 
flutter up and down on top of the stationary left hand index and middle 
fingers:  but that is not what was described by the original poster.... so 
I'm sure I haven't helped.  ::smile::

You mean the movement like in SALT? You may be inspired by the PJM sign 
for 
this (SOL).
