Hello Lucy!
Yes. I noticed that too. In your original Microsoft Word document,  
which is also posted on the web...that document also has those  
symbols missing and that is probably because my computer does not  
have your fonts in my operating system...so the font that you use  
probably needs to be embedded when you make the PDF, meaning that  
your font will be held inside the file so that even if my computer  
does not have your font, I will always read the PDF correctly...

There are two kinds of PDFs, I believe...one that stores the original  
font and is a bigger file, and one that does not store the fonts and  
is dependent on the individual operating system of each  
computer...and I believe yours is the latter one...

I am sorry this is extra work for you, but because I did not have  
your fonts, there was nothing I could do about it...
