SignWriting Handwriting Course on the Internet
Monday, January 8th...Lesson 1 posted on the web
Monday, January 15....Lesson 2 posted on the web
Monday, January 22....Lesson 3 posted on the web

Requirements:

1. a prior knowledge of a signed language from any country
Participants already signed up for the course are from:
Brazil, Canada, Germany, Honduras, Luxembourg, UK and USA...


2. beginning SignWriting skills
At least an awareness of what the symbols look like when written by  
computer...

3. you will need to join the SignWriting List to take the course
You can then leave the SignWriting List after the course is done, if  
you wish...
The SignWriting List will be our way of communicating about your  
writing assignments.


How does the course work?
There will be one Handwriting Lesson per week:

1. A lesson will be posted on the web on Monday morning California time
2. The new lesson will be announced to the SignWriting List when it  
is posted.
3. Participants will study the lesson any time during that week (you  
have a whole week to do it)
4. Participants will post their handwriting assignments to the  
SignWriting List (in .png, .gif, or .jpg formats)
5. Teacher and participants will discuss each student's writing and  
answer questions and feedback on the SignWriting List
6. This will repeat every Monday for three Mondays:

January 8th...Lesson 1 posted on the web
January 15....Lesson 2 posted on the web
January 22....Lesson 3 posted on the web
