Handwriting Course Homework#1 from Paul

Hello all :-)
attached to this mail, you can see my Homework. Hope you can read it.

@Stefan: Maybe i can write a bit about your comments?
#1) I agree with you. I think too, that begining to learn a system of 
writing should never focus on speed (speed will come with more practice 
in writing)
#3) this table will be an excellent idea !
#4) flat hand with no top/bottom-lines ... i feel uncomfortable with 
this too.
#5) arrow-writing: to distinguish between left/right hand, personally i 
write the following stroke sequence (maybe it is comfortable for others 
too?)
Left hand Arrows (non-filled) and
Right hand arrows (filled) and
#6) right , its difficult for beginners to respect proportions of the 
signs (i.e. Face and Hand in one Symbol) often i write the hands too big.
#7) yes ... i must have a visual representation of one sign to write it 
dowm correct in handwritng (i looked at the signs in signpuddle ;-))
#8) page numbers will be fine :-) i wrote by hand on each page 1/8 - 2/8 
- 3/8 - ...
#9) scanning pages with 100 DPI will be fine for screen-reading (even 75 
DPI [like a fax do] will be enough for that purpose) only if you want to 
print a book, you must scan at higher resolutions (usually 300DPI)

@Valerie: Can you please explain me the difference between these 
movement arrows ? and (by this time i think that maybe the dotted one 
will be slower in movement?)

And by the way - great writings from the other participants. Most 
writings i can sign, even if i do not know what they mean - because i do 
not understand ASL ;-)
