question on sign notation, small arrow heads

So in summary, Anny...

1. If you can write both the beginning and ending position  
handshapes, then no Finger Movement Symbols are necessary.

2. If you want to shorten the sign, and take away one position, then  
you use Finger Movement Symbols.

3. The Finger Movement Symbols relate to the RESULT of the finger  
action...so they are relating to the END position...

4. I personally always place the Finger Movement Symbols next to the  
fingers themselves, and not near the Arm-Movement arrows

5. Some people do place them on arrows. If you do, it should be at  
the arrowhead, since that is the result or the ending of the movement...
