Hello Ingvild and Everyone -

Ingvild asked me how I would write the sign for 12 in Norway...which  
opens once into an L handshape

In the attached diagram it shows the number 11 in ASL to give you a  
comparison...

Then I tried to write the number 12 from Norway beneath it...

  and since we are so used to writing the numbers with dots, I would  
choose a hollow dot to show the one opening into the L...

Just my thoughts -

Thanks for asking the question, Ingvild...I placed these, along with  
your writing, in the Norwegian SignPuddle  -

I am not sure if we really need the dot over the thumb...what do you  
all think?
