Hello Bill -
Thanks for this info. This is certainly a new world of marketing a
brand name with a logo, called a Favicon, which big companies are
trademarking! Very interesting...

And I have found that only some web browsers show the Favicon.ico that
I created...Camino, Netscape Navigator, and others do not show the
Favicon, but Firefox and Safari do...so there must be something I
don't know yet!

I thought I needed to update Camino to the latest version, so I did
that, but I still cannot view the Favicon, so maybe the Camino
developers never put that feature into Camino...Camino is a web
browser for the mac...

So I guess not all web browsers relate to Favicons the same way...;-))

Anyway...I prefer the simple urls of the past...simple web browsers
without too much clutter up at the top...

Nonetheless we will try to develop better Favicons...but I certainly
don't plan to trademark them! The Favicon software I used
automatically puts the Favicon under the Creative Commons license I
believe...and that is fine with me!

Thanks for your help -

Val ;-)
