Now I have a question. What do you mean by "articulating parts"?

The International SignWriting Alphabet (the ISWA 2008), which is going  
to be released in a month or so, has 7  Symbol Categories and 30  
Symbol Groups...You can see that Category 3 is Face and Head, Category  
4 is Body, meaning shoulders, hips, torso and limbs...
