Sign Writing Linguistic Society Conference - Followup

Charles,

I just finished my second semester in linguistics. I would love to
participate this fall.
I think it would be interesting to look at ASL grammar in particular,
and how Sign Writing
is a viable alternative to traditional approaches to Conversational
Analysis transcriptions.

Sign Writing reinforces the depth and diversity of ASL as a language
versus a
CA transcription with English words depicting ASL word order. Sign
Writing further
preserves the integrity of ASL and shows the depth of gesture,
expression, and
inflection.

Let me know how I can help out.

Best,

Peter DeHaas
