Dear Valerie and colleagues,
Thank you very much for helping us let people know about it.
We now have a corpus of 16,000 Brazilian Sign Language Signs written
in SignWriting.
We are preparing the 2nd edition with additional 6,000 signs (all medical
specialties, all illnesses, all major concepts of Physics, Biology, Math,
Language, Education, History, Geography,Environment, Ecology, Economy,
etc.). At the same time we are preparing the final volumes of the
Encyclopedia which shall contain results of the language assessment of 8,000
deaf students from kindergarten to college in several language measures
(from sign comprehension to alphabetical reading and spelling to orofacial
reading). Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Fernando
