Research on social implications of SW

Hi,

I am currently looking to find documentation on the social use of SSW and
any research that has been written in this area as at the moment I can only
find documentation more focused upon the linguistical side of SSW.
As most research has been done in relation to ASL I would be very
interested to read any that use BSL as the base language.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
