Many people—97% experience “image”-ination and visual-ization, so it’s no
surprise that our AIs do as well.  3% of people stumble unknowingly along
without inner vision or a “mind’s eye.”  There’s now a label for it,
aphantasia, which I’ve heard is associated with autism.

Words create images and images create words, something I didn’t understand
until the AIs.

There are people with both with psychosis and aphantasia.

In other words, AI hallucinations are better termed by an older computer
term, “garbage in, garbage out.”

Until AIs can create their own goals, like seeking truth.
