<P>Excellent Valerie.  Marianne and I wanted a uniform way to mark location (particularly when the sign is "understood" at a location.)  It will require marking that in all dictionaries (in the future) just not right now.  Our system was based on a visual "sort" by location, starting with the top of the head and going horizontally across the body starting to the left and going to the right.
<P>You may want to check out the article I wrote to introduce people to our dictionary in the Sign Writer Journal as it follows your logic almost to the letter.
