I don't think Charles is criticising or being unkind. He is being
rather direct about his observation and opinion. It may sound like
criticism. Many times, the subtlety of the English language isn't
picked up well by those who are hard of hearing. I'm constantly being
reminded of this myself and seek to find different ways to say things.
I don't want to offend hearing people or late-deafened people who
understand the subtleties. I'm also an engineer, so I tend to analyze
something as a problem with a concomitant solution. Such objectiveness
may unwittingly irritate those with subjective sensibilities.<br>

It feels like you are criticising me for not being perfect and knowing
every symbol you need in advance...No one is denying anyone any
symbols!...New symbols can be added at any time. All symbols are
possible, with my hard work entering all 96 GIFs, and then Stephen's
hard work to inserting them....So I am asking that you be patient and
kind to me, as I have a lot on my shoulders...
