<DIV>Well, the other option that people can do is to "write" with the mouse alone, as if you were using a pencil and paper and write in a "paint" program.  That way it is similar to pencil and paper and you have some idea of the limitations of just pencil and paper.  You have to force yourself not to use a "fill" command, but it does give all of us an idea of what you use in shorthand.</DIV>
