<DIV>I would have to disagree, as this way you have no way to distinguish between forward, up, and back for that handshape without sticking the thumb out to the side. The L handshape, when it is at right angles, thumb forward, REQUIRES the thumb to be represented by a circle, regardless, so the IMWA for Brazil, and some other areas already uses it on a regular basis.</DIV>
