<P>The people at the CDS were so friendly. To bad you didn't have enough time to talk more with Patrick, he has some interessting views on writing systems...</P>

<P>Hello again, </P>
<P>That's funny, because I also went to the CDS of Dublin last May, where I met Patrick
<DIV></DIV>Matthews again after 8 years. He talked about his PhD, but due to a lack of time, we had no time to
<DIV></DIV>go further in detail. Later, I went to Belfast to meet Shane Gilchrist o'hEorpa. Shane was among the first
<DIV></DIV>ones to introduce me to SW...
<P></P>
<P>I plan to go back to Dublin in 2006 for other reasons but it will also
<DIV></DIV>be an opportunity for me to gather more info about SW in Ireland.
<P></P>
<P>I am waiting for an answer about
<DIV></DIV>fundings to develop SW in French-Belgium. If I get a special fund for travelling, I will be able to travel
<DIV></DIV>around and go to different schools in Europe (and also meet Val in the States, if I get the opportunity to
<DIV></DIV>meet such a busy woman!!! -smile-)

<DIV></DIV><BR>> for Deaf studies) and met Patrick Matthew - he told me he visited you once in San Diego :) They
<DIV></DIV>were all <BR>> such sweet and friendly people. I discussed SignWriting with him because he's working on
<DIV></DIV>his Phd about <BR>> writing systems for Sign Language. - I was so happy ;) - We exchanged email and he
<DIV></DIV>wants to ask questions <BR>> about how we use it in our daily education with Deaf children. I also made
<DIV></DIV>a report - that's almost <BR>> finished - I'll post it on the list ;) It was soooo interessting!
<DIV></DIV>Evolution in SignSpelling? Yes, <BR>> it's possible... look here ;) This is my name 'Kathleen', you can
<DIV></DIV>see how I made the first sign in <BR>> September 2004, the middle one I made june 2005 and the last one
<DIV></DIV>I made november 2005. You see the <BR>> difference? smile ;) Greetings Kathleen Have a nice day! Gratis
