<P>I first saw this in the Flemish online dictionary from Kristof, the sign for working 'werken' </P>

<P>The vertical lines represent the <STRONG>wrist</STRONG>. Kristof told me he used this to make it clear how the handshape needs to be seen. </P>
<P>I used to write 'year' like the first signs you see here. The children didn't read it very well. When we changed it to the next one (example 2), they red it without a problem. (now we need to apply the spellingrules again ;)</P>
