@Stefan: Maybe i can write a bit about your comments?<br>
#1) I agree with you. I think too, that begining to learn a system of
writing should never focus on speed (speed will come with more practice
in writing)<br>
#3) this table will be an excellent idea !<br>
#4) flat hand with no top/bottom-lines ... i feel uncomfortable with
this too.<br>
#5) arrow-writing: to distinguish between left/right hand, personally i
write the
following stroke sequence (maybe it is comfortable for others too?)<br>
Left hand Arrows (non-filled) <img

#6) right , its difficult for beginners to respect proportions of the
signs (i.e. Face and Hand in one Symbol) often i write the hands too
big.<br>
#7) yes ... i must have a visual representation of one sign to write it
dowm correct in handwritng (i looked at the signs in signpuddle ;-))<br>
#8) page numbers will be fine :-) i wrote by hand on each page 1/8 -
2/8 - 3/8 - ...<br>
#9) scanning pages with 100 DPI will be fine for screen-reading (even
75 DPI [like a fax
do] will be enough for that purpose) only if you want to print a book,
you must scan at higher resolutions (usually 300DPI)<br>

@Valerie: Can you please explain me the difference between these
movement arrows ? <img src="cid:part5.07070506.04080903@plh.lu"> and <img
src="cid:part6.04010106.09090408@plh.lu"> (by this time i think that
maybe the dotted one will be slower in movement?)<br>

And by the way - great writings from the other participants. Most
writings i can sign, even if i do not know what they mean - because i
do not understand ASL ;-)<br>
