    On this page the example of the surface symbols with surface
parallel with the wall (the second example), how would I know which
surface symbol goes with which hand (or also, which of the two hands is
closest to me)?<br>
    Thank you for pointing me to these lessons.  The surface symbols
are getting clearer all the time.<br>
