<div>Hi Steve,</div> <div> </div> <div>I can understand the need for transparency for some signs, but I thought for hands where the hands cross, the white background was actually better so that it showed the front hand actually covering the back hand. I'd prefer WHITE backgrounds so that the hands are truly an opaque object, white and black, as the system is described, as if one is wearing white and black gloves to show the hands in motion. </div> <div> </div> <div>This way I know, in assembling a sign, how much is showing, how much is not, and adjust the sign centering accordingly.</div> <div> </div> <div>Charles</div> <div><BR><BR><B><I>Steve Slevinski <slevin@signpuddle.net></I></B> wrote:</div> <BLOCKQUOTE class=replbq style="PADDING-LEFT: 5px; MARGIN-LEFT: 5px; BORDER-LEFT: #1010ff 2px solid">SignPuddle uses PNGs with transparency. The multi-step process will keep the transparency information.<BR><BR>Alternatively, I could default the signs to have white backgrounds without transparency.
