Some of the handshapes are strange. I wonder, since its paired with South African SL, if its not -American- ASL. ASL is used in other places besides here, so maybe that could explain the strange handshapes in "ASL." The few signs shown are familiar, if a bit English. A couple have movements that are not quite what I am used to-- could be regional, could be the same thing as the handshapes. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><br><br>cherie<br><br><div style="font-family: 'times new roman', 'new york', times, serif; font-size: 12pt; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">----- Original Message ----<br>From: Valerie Sutton <<a href="mailto:sutton@signwriting.org">sutton@signwriting.org</a>><br>To: SignWriting List <<a href="mailto:sw-l@majordomo.valenciacc.edu">sw-l@majordomo.valenciacc.edu</a>><br>Sent: Friday, March 28, 2008 5:04:20 PM<br>Subject: [sw-l] what do you think of these ASL and SASL videos?<br><br>SignWriting List<br>March 28, 2008<br><br>What do you think of these ASL and SASL videos?<br><br>Sign Language Products by SignGenius<br><a href="http://www.signgenius.com/products.shtml" target="_blank">http://www.signgenius.com/products.shtml</a><br><br>Val ;-)<br><br><br><br>____________________________________________<br><br>SW-L SignWriting List<br><br>Post Message<br><a ymailto="mailto:SW-L@majordomo.valenciacc.edu" href="mailto:SW-L@majordomo.valenciacc.edu">SW-L@majordomo.valenciacc.edu</a><br><br>List Archives and Help<br><a href="http://www.signwriting.org/forums/swlist/" target="_blank">http://www.signwriting.org/forums/swlist/</a><br><br>Change Email Settings<br><a href="http://majordomo.valenciacc.edu/mailman/listinfo/sw-l" target="_blank">http://majordomo.valenciacc.edu/mailman/listinfo/sw-l</a><br><br></div><br></div></div><br><hr size="1"><a href="http://us.rd.yahoo.com/evt=47519/*http://tc.deals.yahoo.com/tc/blockbuster/text1.com">No Cost - Get a month of Blockbuster Total Access</a><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>now.
