 ( Interprete de Língua de Sinais ) agora, corretamente, usamos o termo TILS ( Tradutor e/ou Interprete de Língua de Sinais ). Não se trata apenas de uma nova nomeclatura, e sim uma forma mais correta de identificar o profissional envolvido neste processo entre a LS e LO. Pois Traduzir e Interpretar são trabalhos específicos que exigem técnicas e abordagens específicas. A ELS é um campo que se abre para o profissional Tradutor. Antigamente pensávamos em materiais para os Surdos apenas em Video, agora pensamos também em material impresso, com a ELS surge um novo campo e mercado para a atuação deste profissional.</div><div><br></div><div>Ainda estamos num processo de evolução no que diz respeito a formação deste profissional, no Brasil os cursos de formação de Interprete, a nível superior é coisa recente. Mas num futuro poderemos ter uma formação mais específica em Interpretação para aqueles que gosta deste área, e Tradução para outros.</div><div><br></div><div>Este Tradutor poderá atuar nos dois sentidos LO > LS e/ou LS > LO. Traduzindo de um Vídeo para língua portuguesa, traduzindo de um texto ELS para língua portuguesa, texto em língua portuguesa para ELS, etc. Este profissional pode ser surdo ou ouvinte. Um Tradutor Surdo poderia traduzir textos do portugues para LIBRAS com ELS. Se formos pensar na escasses de obras literárias que estão disponíveis em LO sem o mesmo em LS, podemos ter uma idéia do vasto campo que aguarda este profissional.</div><div><br></div><div>Recentemente aconteceu uma discussão bem interessante na Lista de Discussão BRASILS. Um projeto para reunir todos os Sinais do Brasil em um único local que estivesse disponível para todos os Interpretes e outros interessados e que pudesse ser alimentado por todos. Em função da falta de conhecimento do sistema SW de ELS, naturalmente este empreendimento não tem como base a escrita. Mas se estes profissionais já estivessem envolvidos com a ELS, já saberiam que isto já existe, trata-se de um dicionário de Língua de Sinais não só do Brasil, mas de diversos países. Este dicionário internacional está disponível em <a href="http://www.signbank.org/signpuddle">www.signbank.org/signpuddle</a></div></div></div></body></html>
