I have to agree with Ingvild. The system is getting so completely complicated it is no longer easy to understand and uniform. A brush between should be sufficient, adding the orientation just makes it complicated. The Roman alphabet has 26 letters and has managed to survive thousands of years. By contrast, Sign Writing is a little over 26 years old and now has thousands of symbols.

Don't complicate things and make them a requirement.

Charles Butler

Ingvild Roald <iroald@hotmail.com> wrote:
For easy reading, the last one is better. The two lines and the things (fingers) that the brush is between, are oriented the same way.

But for simplicity of the writing system,
I not so sure.
