Both products will be available to help raise money for Val's
non-profit. Both will be able to synchronize with SignPuddle Online. <br>
<br>
The SignPuddle Reader will be for offline reading of documents without
an internet connection. The SignPuddle Reader will not be able to edit
or create new documents.<br>
<br>
The PocketPuddle runs the same software as SignPuddle Online. It can
edit or create new entries just as SignPuddle Online.<br>

Of course Steve can best answer this...
But it is my understanding that Steve is working on upgrading
SignPuddle Online, the PocketPuddle, and the PersonalPuddle to all
work with the new SignWriting Image Server (SWIS) and a new version of
SignText...
The goal is to be ready by the end of August, since there are others
who need the PocketPuddle by September 1st, so that is our goal...but
there is a busy month ahead...

had a success with using our old SignWriting Shorthand system for
classroom <br>
notetaking in ASL, at CSUN for a Deaf student and it was an exciting

with new ideas being applied to real classroom settings....writing sign

language at speed of signing, and then re-writing the notes taken so <br>
quickly, into more formal SignWriting for the student to be able to
read at <br>
home...then SignWriting evolved into expressive and vertical writing
and the <br>
Shorthand fell out of date, and it still has to be updated to match the
way <br>
we write today, but I am confident that we can someday start using the <br>
Shorthand again as a form of daily personal handwriting, that might be <br>
useful for your kind of work...<br>

brackets, they do well in horizontal writing...that is where they

problem, but if we were doing a graphics file, like the attached one,

obviously we could use the brackets going down in vertical
