Hi Ron,<br><br>The PersonalPuddle will work on Linux. You'll need to install apache2 with PHP and the GD graphics library. Then copy files from the PersonalPuddle.<br><br><span>On the linux machine, open a browser window and enter the url "<a target="_blank" href="http://localhost">http://localhost</a>". If a page opens, you already have apache, so skip to step 2.</span><br><br>Open a terminal window and enter the following commands. You'll need the root password.<br><br>1) sudo apt-get install apache2<br>2) sudo apt-get install php5-gd<br><br>Next you need to know where to install the PersonalPuddle files. They go in the DocumentRoot directory. Mine is /var/www, yours may vary. You may need to check the "/etc/apache2/sites-available" directory. There should a file called "default" that will contains the DocumentRoot variable.<br><br>Once you find the DocumentRoot, you can delete all of the files there or
you can create a new subdirectory called "personalpuddle". <br>Next you'll need to copy the PersonalPuddle files from "udrive/www" to the DocumentRoot.<br><br>Finally, open a browser with the URL "<a href="http://localhost" target="_blank">http://localhost</a><span>" or "<a target="_blank" href="http://localhost/personalpuddle">http://localhost/personalpuddle</a>" if you used a subdirectory. If the sign graphics don't appear, you may need to restart apache, or simply reboot the machine.</span><br><br>To find directions online, you can search for "ubuntu install apache2 php gd".
